Mission Tour and Hard Goodbyes

Hello loved ones (and maybe strangers that might be reading this), you're all great and don't worry... just 1 month and I’ll be back;)

But that's not what I want to talk about today because I’m not “trunky”... :) This week was totally normal; nothing you haven´t heard before. Only one thing… we had a mission tour, which means a General Authority visited our mission. Nobody you would know because he's the Area 70, but it was cool! I saw some friends, which means it was my chance to say goodbye to all of them. It felt like too many goodbyes for one human.

"Love note:" A scripture that I forgot the reference but it's in Philippians and it talks about moving forward and trusting in the Lord, and I was needing it this week.. I'll try to find it and send the reference next week. But if you read the whole book of Philippians you'll find it:)

11th transfer... acabou

First off... the transfer is over and my comp is leaving me and I have never been so sad to say bye to anyone here on the mission. I'm gonna miss her like a sister. Pray for me please:) Thank you! This week was awesome. A great last week of a FREAKING BOMB transfer!

As usual, I don't have a whole ton of time so I'll share a quick story with you guys and send some pics... SO the story is about the miracle baptism we had this week! We always say that working in rain brings the blessings, and this week we got stuck in a few rainstorms and got SOAKED! I just needed shampoo and conditioner to take my shower... So Anderson (a pesquisador we had) had his baptismal interview and was still doubting a lot, so he said he'd call to let us know the next day.

That's when we got stuck in the biggest rainstorm. SO we prayed that through our diligence even in the rain, we would see the miracle of his baptism. The next day he didn't call, so we called him, and he said he didn't want to be baptized. But your girls don't give up that easy, so we went and talked with him face to face and WOW did the spirit come in clutch or what! We counseled with him using Lucas 7:30 that talks about the men who rejected God's counsel not being baptized, so we switched his name in and that hit him like a bus... and he said "well if this really is what God wants... I guess you mark my baptism for 7:00 tomorrow" and BOOM!! He is now a member of the LIVING TRUE church of Christ here on the earth. I know this church is true. I simply know it, and nothing will ever change that.

"Love note": For sure the baptism. We had told God that, this would be our way of knowing if He accepted our work this transfer. #grateful

Sweet and Simple

It seems like I have less and less time every P-day so this email is gonna be short:)

This week we had a lot of service opportunities with members and gained their trust even more than we already had. It's awesome cause they're always willing to help when we need it. We have been growing closer with our converts, and the ward has received them so well! I have loved learning with the members and people we are teaching here in Pirassununga.

Also quick side note... please pray that me and Sister Sousa stay together! It's not likely but it would be the most wonderful thing...
