B-day e Dorival:)

My computer is messed up, and this is the second time I am writing, so I don't have time to rewrite, but I will send some pics and stuff:)

This week we had Dorival's baptism and it was very special! He doesn't have legs and so his baptism was made possible by three different people. His smile after it was all over made me feel so much joy:)

Also my comp is “old”. 20 years old! I arranged a few surprises for her that day;)

Blue Popsicle: an irmã that gave us some toddy:) It's a powdered chocolate to make chocolate milk. SO GOOD

"Love note" Dorival´s baptism that worked out:)

Y'all like voice recordings?! good:)

I'm going to send pictures to talk about the week....

But just to resume quickly though, we had some really cool teaching experiences and found some way cool people like always:) We invited 3 people to be baptized, one of which entered the waters of baptism this past Saturday. I am really loving my time here, and enjoying it the best I can! T-minus 8 weeks guys!

Blue Popsicle: Visiting nearly a dozen less active members and hearing their stories. I love these people.

"Love note:" (spiritual thought for those who don't know what "love note" means) I “stole” these words from Elder Smith (from my MTC district)... "In John 8 it says that “he that committeth sin is a slave of the sin”, and another verse in Galatians 5 talks about Christ freeing us from the yoke of slavery. So basically when we sin we put ourselves in slavery or bondage to sin (or the adversary), but when we learn the truths of the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ, this knowledge and then ACTING on this knowledge frees us from the bondage to our sins. Christ's truth sets us free."

It's So HOT!!!

It is getting HOT over here in Pirassununga, guys. Very hot! Over 100 degrees kinda hot... with no air conditioning. Sometimes I ask myself how it's possible to survive in this heat and then I remember... it's not even summer here yet ... We started counting how many times we say, "it's so hot…" every day, hahaha!

Other than the heat things are GREAT! We are seeing lots of miracles. We got some NEW people at church this week, and one pesquisador (Anderson) helped us push another pesquisador (Dorival) in a wheel chair all the way to church. Such a cute sight. We are seeing lots of good things together!!

Blue Popsicle: Julia made us cookies (I'll send a pic of her).

"Love note": Finally watching General women's conference and hearing the importance of our role as women in the restored Church of Jesus Christ. I know this is the true Church of our Savior here on the earth. I feel more and more grateful for this knowledge with every day that passes.

Me and my comp

Moana + Elsa? couldn't have a better match

Hello friends and family. This week has been AWESOME!! My new comp and new area are awesome! She looks like Moana and everyone says I am Elsa so that's why this email has that subject line. Just so you don't get confused. She is from Utah, like I said last week, and we just CLICKED SO WELL! I am stoked for this transfer!!

We got lost a few times in our area this week and it was fun to see how God used that to show us miracles and to bless our path. We found so many cool people because of that.  The mission is such a cool place to see God's hand. DAILY! There is nothing more precious than that. I am loving it out here!

Also this General Conference… TALK ABOUT POWERFUL! For real. I can say that I have seen in my life how close Christ's coming is, and the prophet is trying to get us ready. He is doing HIS part... now it's time to ask if we're doing OURS... It's not a joke people... We are closer than we know. That's a fact. I hope and pray that we can all follow his counsel and study and prepare to meet our Savior face to face.

Blue Popsicle: My new comp, Moana

"Love note": L Todd Budge in the afternoon session on Saturday gave an example of trusting in the Lord and said, "I don't feel safe, but I am." That is a very true statement
for all of us. Let's all remember that okay? Okay.

The best view we have in our area hahaha
