I'm alive and that's what matters:)

Honestly this week has nothing really cool to share... I'm sorry this email is kind of lame, but I love you all.  Just know I worked every day this week and share the Gospel, which is what I'm here to do :)

Mais uma transferência acabou!!

Hello friends and family and loves ones:)

This week was great and HARD and fun and also full of new challenges…just like always:) I did another division and taught more people and avoided drunk, crazy men and all the norms of the mish here in Brazil:) And also one more transfer has come and gone, and I’m sticking around here a little longer with my same comp!! SUPER HAPPY!

So, I forgot to write a funny story that happened last week.  Me and my companion walked down a new street that we had never been down, and after a few blocks we saw a drunk man with no teeth running up to us and pointing at me.  When he got closer (way too close) he started to cry and told me how he was so in love with me and that he wanted to marry me, and that he would do anything for me.  He thought I didn’t believe him, so to prove it he got down on one knee and asked me to MARRY HIM!  He was yelling and crying and everyone was watching this crazy show!  I just invited him to go to church and he told me he would go and would bring me perfume.  To top it all off he kissed my hand, and it was nasty!  Super fun times here in Rio Claro!

Blue Popsicle: Helping sister Barbosa with her eyebrows. I love eyebrows!

"Love note:" I was praying a lot to stay here in this area for one more transfer with my companion, and it happened:) I know WITHOUT A DOUBT that God heard my prayers, and answered! Like He always does.

There really isn't anything super special about this week so I'm just going to go ahead and send photos.

Milagres acontecem! (Miracles Happen!)

Hello! One more week flew by, and here I am again… writing an email and trying to remember everything that happened this week!

We had a division with some sisters, which we do almost every week here In Rio Claro! During the division I worked with a sister named Sister Barrera. We had a REALLY good day together. We got so much done and it just felt like such a successful day! We ended with pizza and music and it was really fun:)

Also this week we had a mission conference. About 1/3 of the mission was there... It was awesome. The assistants always give a training that helps me put things into perspective and helps me realize the importance of using my time wisely out here. We were invited to ask, "Is this activity really worth God's time?" So that was really good:)

Also I sang which is always a little nerve racking, but I also loved it! Me and the sister that played the piano only got to go through it one time because she's in an area about 3 hours from here. We just trusted in God. Tudo deu certo;)

Lastly, we were able to mark a baptismal date with Roberto for this Sunday with permission from his mom, but it's still touch and go… so once again I am asking for your prayers! He needs it and so does his mom, and us:) THANK YOU ALL!

Blue Popsicle: The açaí that the members gave us after lunch yesterday:)

"Love note:” The spirit that God sent to our mission conference this week. I was reminded of God’s love and that He really is aware of us.

13 meses (13 months)!

Today I hit 13 months in the mish! TIME FLIES...!

Anyway, this week we were able to mark baptismal dates with that family that I talked about a few weeks ago…the REALLY AWESOME ONE! We need lots of prayers! Please put their names on the temple roll, fasting, everything. This family is amazing and the enemy will do everything he can to destroy everything. PLEASE PRAY FOR THEM<3 (Jessica, Cristiano, Kelly)

I have pictures that explain the rest of the week.  And other than the things I took pictures of, nothing much happened. We were able to do an activity to find less-actives with our district, which was cool.  We also we had interviews with President and he gave us a ride and then left us like 2 hours away from home on accident… J  Other than all this I have pics:)

Blue Popsicle: Today we got free açaí from a very kind human.

"Love note": A message I received from my first comp. She reminded me why I'm here. Interesting how things always come in the nick of time, huh?

There’s a funny story about the pictures with a bunch of sisters. We went to an event without knowing what it was. We heard it was going to be an event for people to try wedding dresses, and we have a sister here who's finishing her mission and thought it'd be a funny "last mission pic.”  It ended up being a huge party/festival. So we took some pics and left some invites and got out really quick! Ha-ha! It was sooooo fun and hilarious!! Good times:)
