FINALLY TRANSFERRED

This was a great last week here in Pira 4 but I’m out! I'm headed to Rio Claro SIÃO! I'm very excited to have new experiences in a new place with an old friend :) I'm gonna be comps with my second "mom" of the mission. I am really looking forward to this change!

This week we had divisions with sisters from São Pedro and it was so fun to learn from them. The lunch was special... but we did lots of great work with them!

Also this week I said bye to Sister Richard and Sister Kern.  I can't believe they are leaving! They were newbies when I met them. It's weird how fast time passes... I'm going to miss them a lot.

That's it for this week! Not much to say:)

“Blue popsicle”: My clothes dried in time to pack my bags.

"Love note": A man stopping us on the road and asking for a Book of Mormon. God really does prepare His field. I love this work!

Power of a fast

This week flew by. I feel like I was just here in this same chair in the Internet café telling you all about my last week.  But here I am again talking about this one.

So we started with doing a division with some sisters in Capivari. It was a really good day! Lots of walking, lots of sun, and TONS of miracles. I don't think I have had another day so full of miracles like this. We turned down the wrong road 6 times and every time we did, we found someone SO COOL!! We found someone that had a daughter who was born the same day as my nephew, Bexton! I freaked out. We were fasting this whole day. The powers of heaven truly did pour down upon us:)

This week we also found some really cool people in our area, which is always so fun! I had to go to the Urgent Care once again with Sister Plata but we both passed our exams ;) so we're good.

We finished the week with Paula's baptism, which was a miracle that only God could have performed. I have been able to grow my testimony of fasting and prayer while being on my mission. I am so happy that we were able to see God's hand, despite having been an odd transfer...

Blue popsicle: The statue of Christ we found in Capivari:)

"Love note": Finding an old investigator from over a year ago that had been "lost" after a “wash” in the area.

I love and miss you all... <3

Feliz dia das mães (Happy Mother's Day!)

Hello hello helloooooooooooo....

There's not a whole lot to share about this week but it was still a pretty good week! It was a week of finally being healthy and on the road again, and having the chance to learn so much in the splits that I did with Sister Dionisio. I’m always learning from all these cute girls:)

A miracle from this week was that an "eternal investigator" came to us to FINALLY mark her baptismal date! She is so full of faith and a desire to follow Christ. I am amazed by her example and love for this gospel. Her name is Paula, and I would like to ask that you all pray for her this week. She needs it!!

God has opened many doors to us in this area and I am learning more and more about the importance of His work out here on the mish. Thank you to everyone who has been a major part of my support system! I thank God for each and every one of you every day!

Blue popsicle: A member buying us a box of 100 salgadinhos as a surprise… yummmmmy!

"Love note": God showing me how it is to truly love with charity. I am so grateful to represent my Savior.

10 meses... JÁ???

Hello all you people I love!!! This was another week of trying to get better from this fun virus I have! But we had “multizona” which was a good time, and I learned a lot! We saw lots of little miracles in our area this week. God is so good and I know that He blesses us according to our faith and efforts.

I have had a new perspective put into my mind this week, and it was from our training at the Zone Conference. It is something we could all think about and be better about. God does not put a set worth on our lives. In fact, God values us so much that he gave us a Savior. So, what will we give for Him? What do we think is worth giving for Christ? I hope we can all think about this and decide to "give our lives" to Christ in any way that we can. In whatever way you are able to apply this... you should give it a try.
