See y'all next week!

I have limited time (like usual) cause I’m going to head out early today to take advantage of my last p-day in my area! So I’m just going to send pics and I'll see you all next week!!!!

Blue popsicle: I did splits with an old friend.. Sis Vargas<3 wow did i miss that woman!!!!

"Love note:" James 1:2-4... I learned that patience is one of the thing that brings us closest to our Savior. With patience we feel peace, there's not contention, no fighting... I hope we can all gain more patience through prayer, and practice!

Short and Sweet

This week was awesome and Thanksgiving was wonderful!! I talked to my fam and prayed with them, and I have never been so happy and excited to hug everyone!! I have the most wonderful family EVER<3

I am feeling especially grateful for the opportunity I have to serve my Lord and Savior every moment of every day out here in Brazil. I have always known it was a great thing.. but there's nothing like experiencing it, and witnessing God's power as a representative of His holy son.

Blue Popsicle: Quick story to go along with this... last P-day I accidentally deleted (actually the computer deleted) ALL MY PICS AND VIDEOS OFF MY MEMORY CARD! Ever since 3 months! 12 months of memories GONE!! and my “blue popsicle” is that a member knew how to recover the VERY DISAPPEARED files. I am extremely grateful for that.

"Love note": The new video the church put out of Christ's birth. What a special thing. I really felt the love of our savior watching that.

The rain just loves us:)

I'm bringing him home okay, mom?

T-MINUS 3 weeks....

Oi galeraaaaaaaa
SO this week was (wait for it...) TOTALLY LIKE ALL THE OTHER ONES!! With a few twists to mix it up a bit, of course..:) We taught people more about the restored, perfect, flawless, blessed church of Jesus Christ, and invited dozens and dozens.... and dozens of humans to come unto Him. And it is the best way I could possibly be spending my time.

I have loved looking for God's hand in my life more than ever these last few weeks, and it has been paying off. We had a great lesson yesterday in Relief Society about how God always offers immediate blessings. Many times (many.. many...many times) it is not exactly what you had in mind, but He knows better and He offers peace and love and understanding, and there is nothing better than feeling God's loving arms around you.

I hope you all have a fantastic week and I will see you all very, very soon:) Not that soon, but it's kind of coming quick my friends.

Blue popsicle: We got stuck in FULL ON RAIN STORMS 3 times this week... you know what that means... (See pics for the answer)

"Love note": For sure that talk we studied in Relief Society.. I want to invite everyone to read Elder Kyle S. Mckay's talk from April 2019 conference if you haven't yet. Doubt, fear, pain, and anxiety will all turn to peace, love, and joy, knowing that God is aware of you. I can promise you all that, as a representative of our Savior Jesus Christ.

Wow!  Would you look at that... acai!!

We made a cake... A good cake!

The answer to getting caught in rain! (We got stuck in rain right before the baptism as well. You can see my hair is still wet)

Sitting there imagining if it was really Christ, physically by my side. What a day that will be.

Mission Tour and Hard Goodbyes

Hello loved ones (and maybe strangers that might be reading this), you're all great and don't worry... just 1 month and I’ll be back;)

But that's not what I want to talk about today because I’m not “trunky”... :) This week was totally normal; nothing you haven´t heard before. Only one thing… we had a mission tour, which means a General Authority visited our mission. Nobody you would know because he's the Area 70, but it was cool! I saw some friends, which means it was my chance to say goodbye to all of them. It felt like too many goodbyes for one human.

Blue popsicle: paçoca… If you know you know

"Love note:" A scripture that I forgot the reference but it's in Philippians and it talks about moving forward and trusting in the Lord, and I was needing it this week.. I'll try to find it and send the reference next week. But if you read the whole book of Philippians you'll find it:)

11th transfer... acabou

First off... the transfer is over and my comp is leaving me and I have never been so sad to say bye to anyone here on the mission. I'm gonna miss her like a sister. Pray for me please:) Thank you! This week was awesome. A great last week of a FREAKING BOMB transfer!

As usual, I don't have a whole ton of time so I'll share a quick story with you guys and send some pics... SO the story is about the miracle baptism we had this week! We always say that working in rain brings the blessings, and this week we got stuck in a few rainstorms and got SOAKED! I just needed shampoo and conditioner to take my shower... So Anderson (a pesquisador we had) had his baptismal interview and was still doubting a lot, so he said he'd call to let us know the next day.

That's when we got stuck in the biggest rainstorm. SO we prayed that through our diligence even in the rain, we would see the miracle of his baptism. The next day he didn't call, so we called him, and he said he didn't want to be baptized. But your girls don't give up that easy, so we went and talked with him face to face and WOW did the spirit come in clutch or what! We counseled with him using Lucas 7:30 that talks about the men who rejected God's counsel not being baptized, so we switched his name in and that hit him like a bus... and he said "well if this really is what God wants... I guess you mark my baptism for 7:00 tomorrow" and BOOM!! He is now a member of the LIVING TRUE church of Christ here on the earth. I know this church is true. I simply know it, and nothing will ever change that.

Blue popsicle: Açaí with my comp

"Love note": For sure the baptism. We had told God that, this would be our way of knowing if He accepted our work this transfer. #grateful
